"The cosmos is all that is or ever was or ever will be. Our feeblest contemplations of the Cosmos stir us—there is a tingling in the spine, a catch in the voice, a faint sensation, as if a distant memory, or falling from a height. We know we are approaching the greatest of mysteries."

Astrophotography

Astrophotography is about making the Universe come alive and be visible for both ourselves and others. Astrophotography is the only way for people to create a trustworthy visual images of objects beyond the Solar System and to be able to imagine the otherwise for the human eye invisible beauties of our Cosmos.

I love to be out in the nature, alone or with friends, gazing at the starry sky, talk and figure out answers to the small and big questions in life, to struggle with the weather, equipment, techniques, and to see the cute forest animals and the dazzling sunrise on the way home after a Iong night. I like lying on a blanket and counting falling stars on the meadow, drinking hot tea beside the telescope in the winter snow, looking at forecast during new moon, planning the astrotrips, choosing the next deep sky object, and to find a good composition.

I'm an astrophotographer because I can pass on the above experiences and the beauty of the night sky with the photos to others who does not have the luck to personally experience these things.
