IC 4604 - IC 4603
IC 4604 is a large diffuse nebula located in the the constellation Ophiuchus, surrounding the bright triple star Rho Ophiuchi. Several regions of bright and dark nebulosity surround this area.
Anteater Nebula
This giant molecular cloud complex streches out across a rich starfield, effectively blocking light from the more distant background stars in the Milky Way.
Antares Region
The Rho Ophiuchi nebula complex and Antares region are beautiful, gigantic clouds of colorful cosmic dust and gas, in constellations Ophiuchi and Scorpio.
Trifid Nebula
This object is an unusual combination of an open cluster of stars, emission nebula, reflection nebula and a dark nebula. 5,000 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius.
Eta Carinae Nebula
One of the most known and grandiose object of the southern sky, is the Great Carina Nebula, catalogued as NGC 3372. A large, complex area in the constellation Carina.
Cr399 - Coathanger
Cr 399 is a random grouping of stars located in the constellation Vulpecula near the border with Sagitta. The brighter members of this star cluster form an asterism known as the Coathanger.
M51 - Whirlpool Galaxy
M51, also known as the Whirlpool Galaxy is an interacting grand-design spiral galaxy located about 23 ± 4 million light years away. It is visible in the northern constellation Canes Venatici.
Trifid Lagoon Nebula
M8 and the M20 are a pair of bright emission nebulas in the constellation Sagittarius. These two nebulas are against the background of the dense star fields of the Sagittarius Arm of the Galaxy.
Heart and Soul Nebula
This rich starfield spans almost 10 degrees across the sky toward the northern constellations Cassiopeia and Perseus. On the left, heart-shaped cosmic cloud IC 1805 and IC 1848...
M45 Pleiades Cluster
The Pleiades or M45 is an open star cluster 444 ly from Earth in the constellation of Taurus. It has been known since antiquity as it's one of the closest and most obvious cluster...
NGC 7000
The North America Nebula or NGC 7000 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, close to the bright star Deneb, approximately 1800 light years from Earth.
Veil Nebula Complex
The Veil Nebula is a supernova remnant in the constellation of Cygnus. The nebulas distance from Earth is not precisely known, but Far Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer (FUSE) data supports...
